ughhh... the woes of being a woman.

Today is my dreaded...(very much dreaded) biopsy of the ol' cervix (sorry dad- any other males who stumble upon this post today).

Ryan took the day off, so I wouldn't have to trap myself in the examining room with my two rabid-like children while getting my cervix examined and snipped.  For that, I am so thankful :)

I am also thankful that I got this message last night:
"sooooo......i got a sitter for the girls in the morning and i would like to take you to your biopsy.. if that is okay, that is. you might have a little cramping and when you said you were going by yourself, i didn't want you to. hope i am not out of line just inviting myself. :)"

{-from my dear Leslie }

After confirming over and over that yes, she was actually volunteering to come and sit in the waiting room of Dr. P's while I get my cervix looked at, we set the date :) haha :)

Along with the doc. visit, we'll be swinging by Starbucks for a pick-me-up, and hopefully having a little girl talk :)

Ughhhhh the woes of being a woman.

But at least I'm a woman with some amazing, AWESOME, incredibly loving friends :)

I will update you all on the appointment later!
  (because, you are dying to know how my cervix looks, I get it, I know :)

Sounds like you've got an amazing friend... even if you do have to get all up close and personal with your cervix!
