ohhhhh BOY.

Today I ventured out for my BIG gymboree shopping spree. I had every, and I mean EVERY intention on spending my 125 dollars in gymbucks on baby boy's clothes. Maeve has enough to last her for the next few years, so really- I was determined to buy BOY clothes. However, the spell of girl gymboree clothes came over me and well, just take a look at how my trip turned out:

Ahhh I came home and showed Ryan- he was not impressed. Our poor turkey desperately needs some cute outfits and I'm just really struggling finding anything that I like. To be totally honest though, I DID spend 50 of my gymbucks solely on boy clothes a few days ago- I bought his home coming outfit & a few cute newborn sleepers.

Now onto other happenings...
The Hot Air Jubilee is in town- and the weather is horrible. WHY/HOW does this happen every single year??????? It's driving me crazy. We paid 20 bucks to get in last night and stayed for about 30 minutes. Maeve tasted cotton candy for the first time & was mesmerized by the animals in the petting zoo. Here are the very few pictures I got from that cold, windy & rainy night at the airport...

Maeve was so intrigued by all the animals... :) But way too hesitant to actually pet any of them!

And to end the post- this has been our Saturday thus far- stuck indoors (due to this horribly cold weather)- Maeve has effectively destroyed her room... but at least she was cute doing it.

Correction.

So apparently I have completely contradicted myself! In a previous post I said I wanted something neutral and not overly "baby" for the new nursery. And then after looking around a bit, come to find out, I really like airplanes & farm animals :) with that being said, I'm going to delete the last post and poll just because I have a feeling my mind will change a thousand more times until I actually paint the room. I'll post pictures when its finished!
