It's Gonna Be a GOOD Week!

AHH! I am so stinkin' excited for this week! Why??? There are lots of good deals, my OB appointment and then of course, registration at the studio. Today(Sunday) kicked off the week of KMarts famous double coupon week! For those of you who don't coupon- now would be a terrific time to start! Even if you don't have a single coupon, you can print some off the internet and STILL get free stuff easily. I am planning on going to Kmart at least once a day this week to get rid of my coupons & stock up on whatever FREE (or close to free) stuff that I can.

Here was my trip today:
-13 coffeemate creamer packs (the little sticks)
-1 ALL Laundry detergent
-7 Visines
-6 Cutter Bug Sprays
-3 Burts Bees Lip glosses
-6 Glade Fabric Odor removal
- 2 Windex
-2 Ban Deodorant
-4 Bayer Chewable Asprins
-5 Reach Flosses
-1 Glade Tin Candle
-1 Glade Refill pack (like I need ANY MORE OF THOSE!!!!!!!!)

I broke this up into 4 transactions, each transaction averaging around 50 cents- SO about 2 bucks for all of that- PLUS I got 20 dollars back- BECAUSE when you buy $25.00 worth of "things" (for example health & beauty, cleaning supplies and food all count for this 5.00 redemption) in certain aisles you get 5.00 back! AND there is an incredible toy clearance going on at our (Jackson) KMart so I am planning on collecting my 5.00 qs and spending them on a haul of toys for Maeve's upcoming birthday. There is a TON of Dora stuff, Barbie, Tinkerbell, Little People (those are Maeves faves.) and there are also a lot of boy toys- Spiderman, Batman, guitar hero stuff, etc. VERY nice :)

For those of you who are going to do the KMart doubles this week just remember- you only need ONE coupon per item- the first time I did a doubling thing I thought you needed 2 coupons- ya know, to double!? Haha I felt like an idiot. Also- look for the little signs in the aisles so you can get that 5 dollars back. OH- and if you need school supplies, print off some BIC and Sharpie coupons and spend 25 dollars at KMart and get EIGHT dollars back! Not too shabby!

I will post more of my Kmart trips throughout the week...
This is Maeve after she woke up from her nap- she was so excited to see the giant pile of STUFF all over the table- but even more excited to destroy my extra, extra long receipt tapes.. :)

Ok, So I'm going to try this whole coupon thing. I hate spending money on toiletries, so we'll see how it goes. Isn't it hard matching up coupons with sales? I'm an accountant and this still seems daunting to me, and I love numbers! Well, if you have anymore advice, keep it coming, I'm always up for a steal!

nooooo its not hard at all- because I don't do it! haha- very rarely do I find something- I use websites that match up the sales for you! afullcup.com is a great place to start! Def. go to Kmart this week! The only problem w/ KMart is their prices are SO SO SO HIGH so you have to have higher value coupons (like 1.50 or 2.00 ones) to get things for free. But if anything else you can get things for pretty cheap!

very impressive! I went yesterday and today, that's about all I really plan on doing. I'm getting a little burned out, is that possible? I think I need to take a little break for a couple of weeks (well, ya know, until there's something too good to pass up!)

What's triggering the 5 dollar coupons to spit out? Do you know? Email me if you need to, that is, if you don't mind...

I tried today, it didn't go too well, I think I still spent more per transaction than I saved..ugh!! I spent $15 on two and $5 on one. I still did save some money so that's good, but it's nothing compared to your 50 cent transactions!!
