Things that go BUMP in the night :)... amongst other happenings.

It turns out that I have TWO bed bugs that like to be up at night. Last night around 4 AM or so, Ryan and I were both awaken by Maeves crying and kicking in her crib. She lays on her back and pounds her heels into the headboard part of her crib- and at the same time lets out the fakest cry you've ever heard- no really, its completely fake because as soon as you go in to check on her, she is up on her feet at the rail of the crib smiling and saying "hiiiiii momma!" This has been the 3rd night in a row of this... to say the least, I am tired. Especially when we can finally get Maeve back to sleep- because THEN my other bug kicks in- literally! :) Yes, yes I LOVE the movement, but what ends up happening is me laying there with my hands on my stomach feeling the movement- unable to get back to sleep. I guess its natures way of preparing me for life with two kids...

***Here's my stinker beaming away- "Hey mom isn't it SO much fun to be awake at 4 AM???"****

Speaking of life with two kids, I've been going a bit crazy trying to stock up on diapers, wipes and any other baby product that we use a lot of. Maybe because now I know how many diapers and wipes you really do use and go through. Or maybe its the nesting thing kicking in already... hmmm- whatever it is, it's keeping Maeve and I busy during the days. This past week (as I've said a thousand times) Kmart was doubling coupons- Maeve and I made 2 trips a day (due to limited transactions at each trip.) I am happy to say as of Friday, (today) I have accumulated 35 big packs (64 count)of wipes and 40 "to go" packs of wipes (the 40 count)... and 40 packs of diapers!!!! Both for Maeve & the turkey. I spent probably a total of 65-70 on it all. What a good week!

***and more diapers***

In other preparation news I've gotten a tad bit obsessed with strollers- I hated the stroller I had with Maeve and her carseat- UGH- hated them! So this time around, I've been super picky while looking. I finally found a stroller that I liked- a LOT. It's the Joovy caboose sit/stand stroller- I was planning on dropping 260 for it online, but low and behold, up pops an ad on Craigslist for a 10 month old joovy caboose sit/stand stroller!! We drove up to Mason tonight to look at it/test it out, etc. and Ryan, myself and MAEVE all fell in love with it. We swiped it up for a nice 65 bucks :) Call me a cheapie but I find it to be completely ridiculous to spend loads of money on something that babies/kids outgrow or ruin in a matter of a year or so. We got the stroller home and fiddled around with it for a bit and I am truly in loooove. It is lighter than my eddie bauer stroller that I had with Maeve- and that was a SINGLE stroller. I'm still amazed that both of my babies are gonna fit in this and its super light, easy to control and doesn't feel like a bus!

****I LOVE IT!!!!!!!****

Okay, I know this post is jumping around a lot and kuddos to you if you're still reading- but I will leave you with an update on the BUMP- its growing and I'm getting more and more clumsy with each passing day. ahhhh only 20 more weeks to go...
