laziness+broken camera= no blogging.

yes- sorry. I am just updating with an apology and a semi-good reason why I haven't blogged in awhile. My camera, my beloved camera has finally broken. I knew it was only a matter of time until it stopped working but I was hoping to have another one by that time. Instead, we are still reading the Sunday ads, looking for a good deal on a Canon Rebel (well that's my dream camera- we'll probably end up having to go with something a couple hundred bucks cheaper.) Anyways I've had lots of things to blog about but no pics to really go with and that just bugs me. Actually I should clarify about my broken camera- it still takes pics- they're just all blurry and horrible looking. It really is driving me crazy not being able to capture Maeve's every day antics...

A quick update on the baby front- my 18 week appt. is in about a week and a half- THEN we'll set up my official ultrasound... OMG- this 20 week wait has been SO HARD! We're praying for health, first and foremost, and secondly a girl. :) haha :) For some reason, I'm just so nervous about raising a boy! I grew up with my sisters and I'm in a profession (teaching gymnastics/dance) that is mainly girls. I'm just so much more comfortable painting a girls nails rather than digging in the mud... but like I said, as long as the turkey is healthy we will be truly happy.

Okay- well that's my blabbering for now.

Ah...second time around I wanted a girl again too! I just love my girl, but I have to admit that I absolutely LOVE having a boy!! So, either way I have no doubt that you'll be happy :). It's funny to see the difference between them. Although I do think you're having another girl...just my intuition.

really- I will be truly happy as long as the baby is healthy- as cliche as that sounds! But yeah, it would be sooooo much cheaper to have a girl! :)

Oh, I remember feeling like that. I have two sisters and two brothers and, well, the boys were just weird. I always pictured myself with girls. Isn't it funny that God gave me three boys in the middle? I didn't know what to do with a boy when I had the first one. By the time Kait came, I was worried that I wouldn't know what to do with a girl again. :) Boys love their mamas!

You're such a great mom, Ashley, that boy or girl really isn't going to matter.
